Defective thermostat purchased last month from Amazon - No return accepted?

Hi,

I am now ready to return the defective Nest Gen 4 thermostat to where I bought it, Amazon.  Amazon is letting me know that this has to be returned to Google.  Google is telling me to return to Amazon.

Which of is right?

  • When did you purchase the device?

Regarding everything that happened when you called Amazon, I would like to inform you that if you want to return a defective device, it must be to the store where you purchased it, in this case, Amazon. If there are problems that the device has presented, I would like to know what happened so I can provide you with the correct assistance.
