I'm thinking of buying a 3rd Gen Google Nest thermostat during black Fri. I've looked at the install videos and it seems pretty straight forward however I can't seem to find the answer to the following....
Currently my control panel is in the kitchen. I set my heating and hot water from here. My current thermostat is in the hallway.
Can I install the Nest thermostat in the hallway in place of the current thermostat or do I install it in place of the unit in the kitchen?
Can I install the nest thermostat in the hallway and the heat link in the kitchen in place of the current control unit?
I'd preferably like the nest thermostat in the hallway if possible but not sure what my options are.
