Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to know more about this. Could you share a photo of your current thermostat's wiring and HVAC's system control board? What is your HVAC's make and model? Also, you could try our compatibility checker to see if your current system is compatible with the Nest Thermostat.

I don't have HVAC system, it's a all totally electric baseboard heating supplemented with a propane fireplace

Hello munk1,

Nest Thermostats typically do not work with electric baseboard systems. They can only be used together if you are currently using a 24 V thermostat.
