Help - we just installed a Nest 3rd generation at our house so we can manage the temperature when away. We're located in the north, so we need to keep our pipes from freezing. The Nest was only installed for a day when we left the temp at 50 degrees. It's now saying not enough power for wifi (we have no c-wire). Will the furnace go off, or will it stay at the original 50 degree setting?

Hi SDaisy,
Thanks for posting.
Could you charge your Nest Thermostat for an hour?
The temperature setting should remain if the Wi-Fi connection is lost, and it will follow set schedules if any. If the thermostat shuts down due to battery issues, then your furnace will also shut off.
Best,
Mel
