Does your furnace puff?

We just installed Nest thermostat and we are finding that at peek times the furnace hangs or puffs and won’t blow cold air but the ac fan is operating.

Sorry to hear about your puffing furnace! I can get how disarming that kind of behavior is from a thermostat. Let's see what's going on here.

This guide is handy to troubleshoot if it's a possible wiring issue. However, if it is not, can you let me know the following?
- Are you receiving any specific error messages on the display or in the Google Home app?
- Was your device working properly prior to reaching out to us?
- Which model of thermostat do you have? (e.g., Nest Thermostat, E, Learning)
- What kind of HVAC system do you have?
