E160 alarm after breaker tripped

Bcashman87

AC condenser outside was running but the breaker tripped. This has happened before and usually happens multiple times during the summer months. I've reported this issue to the manager of the apartments but they haven't replaced the AC yet. Resetting the breaker got the unit running. It's cooling like it should but still says E160. Any way to get this to clear?

Hi Bcashman87,

It shows that your Nest Thermostat detects the Y1 wire mechanically but it can't complete a circuit. Could you please share the photo of the wires that are connected to your thermostat? Check your thermostat power readings by going to Settings and Technical Info. Also, make sure that its software is updated.

Best,

Jenelyn
