I have had this problem for some time. I turn on the heat and after about 3-5 minutes, the heating cycles off and gives me the "E24: No power to Rh wire." error. After a few more minutes, the furnace gets power back and starts up again, but then I get the E24 error again the the furnace cycles off.
My wiring (attached) if for forced air heating (oil fired) and AC. I have followed community threads in the past that suggest a fuse is out on the furnace but mine doesn't have auto style fuse to replace. I have also checked and the condensate pump is working. It seems that removing the Y1 wire helps, but I do still get it cycling, just less frequently. The widget sends me straight to the HVAC pros, but it seems there should be an easier fix.
Any help appreciated.
Best,
John

E24 error means the nest can't electronically detect power to your RH wire.. the reason they suggest a HVAC pro is it could be an electrical issue with the furnace itself, or something as simple as a loose wire.

Thank you so much for your reply. If anyone has suggestions about what I can try before getting an HVAC pro, I would grateful — especially as there are no Nest engineers in our area.
