ECHO MODE SETTING DOESNT WORK

NONE OF THE ISSUE OPTIONS APPLY HERE. I am trying to stop the echo system from coming on at all. I have reset the whole system, followed every instruction I can find and nothing has worked. I have an auto schedule set and it still goes in to echo mode so when I come home from work my house it 85 degrees and then takes forever to cool so what kind of energy is that supposed to be saving anyway. I would never buy another nest thermostat as long as I live. It is really a piece of junk. I will also never recommend a nest thermostat to anyone I know. Plus I am having a hard time even f3aching anybody at the actual company to get any assistance. This was the only forum I 2as able to find.

• Did you get an error message?

To better investigate the situation, let's check a few things to isolate the inconvenience with the Eco Mode:

• Check Energy History: For guidance on how to read the Energy History expanded view, refer to How to Read your Nest thermostat’s Energy History.
• Turn off Home/Away settings: With this option, all of your Nest products can automatically change their behavior as people come and go. Refer to this article: Change Home/Away Assist settings.
• Unable Eco Mode: When Eco Mode is enabled, your thermostat will not heat or cool your home. Follow these steps to Change Eco Mode settings: 
• Create a schedule: For now, the best recommendation or alternative solution is creating a schedule. This prevents the thermo change the temperature by itself. To learn how to set up a new schedule for your Nest Thermostat. Refer to this article: Add a new temperature.
