Recently I haven't been able to control the temperature of my house with voice command via the echo. I've been working with Amazon in the issue, but a breakthrough today makes me believe it is the Nest skill at fault.
Today I discovered the temperature will change if I set it to a multiple of ten. "Set the upstairs temp to seventy degrees" gets a response of "the temperature has been set to 70", but "set the upstairs temp to seventy two degrees" just gets a tone and the temp doesn't change.
When going into the Alexa app and typing in commands directly I've found this
Works
Seventy
72
Doesn't work
Seventy two
Seventy-two
Unfortunately the voice commands always interpret two-word numbers as spelled out with a space between them, so it doesn't work.
Anyone else having this problem? Is there anything that can be done?
