I understand how frustrating it can be if your thermostat is not kicking in your furnace. Don’t worry, let’s see what is going on.
Does your thermostat screen indicate that it’s actively calling for heat? Are your HVAC system’s breakers able to stay on after turning them off when installing the thermostat? Does your system’s fan activate when turning cooling or heating?
I would really appreciate it if you could share an image of what your previous wiring configuration looked like before installing the Nest Thermostat. This could give us a closer look at how your system is configured and whether any changes can be made to get your heating back on track.
In the meantime, feel free to follow this article about how to factory reset your Nest thermostat, then set it up again, making sure you’re choosing the correct fuel and system type so your thermostat can work accordingly.
