Our thermostat thinks the furnace is on but it isn’t. It says it will be 70 in 1 hour and 20 minutes but the furnace isn’t going on. Any ideas how to fix it?

IF you have a 3rd Gen Learning Thermostat, is a blue light (or possibly a red light) flashing at the top of the unit? If so, pull it off the wall and charge it for a few hours using any USB charger and a micro USB cable. (Old phones etc. used micro USB, so you might find a cable in the back of a drawer somewhere.) Snap the unit back on, its backplate, and it should work.

Hey folks,
Thanks for your answer, TJH501.
@JKB, I want to check if you still need help with this. If you do, what type of Nest thermostat do you have? When did this start happening? Also, were there recent changes on your HVAC system or the setup of your thermostat prior to experiencing this concern?
I also suggest that you go through all the suggested troubleshooting steps here and let me know how it goes: https://bit.ly/2KCZpFv
