Gas Heat comes on with One Nest Thermostat in Cool Mode and one OFF.

Why is my heater warming the house in the summer?

I have a Burnham heater which supplies hydronic heat for the entire house. It has two zones: upstairs and downstairs.

I have two Nest Thermostats: one upstairs and one downstairs.

The downstairs Thermostat can only control the heat downstairs. It is set to OFF. (Summer in Northern Hemisphere)

The upstairs Thermostat can control the whole house A/C, and the upstairs heating zone valve. It is set to COOL.

Upstairs is wired Y1, G, Rh, Rc, G, and W1.

Downstairs is wired W1, C, and Rh
