Gen 2 abandonment combined with Gen 4 lack of web browser support

Before I make the mistake of trusting Google with more of my $ I want to know if you have browser support on your roadmap. Nest Thermostats Gen1-3 all supported monitoring and manipulation via a web browser. This feature is non-negotiable for me. Your main competitors all support it. I don't understand why you would remove a feature from a product and call it new and improved, but this is what Google does with almost everything they touch.

I have a Gen2 and a Gen3
When I have to replace the Gen2due to your abandonment, it will be with a product that supports web control.

Hi @Vedius,

Thank you for posting in the community and sharing your feedback regarding browser support for Nest Thermostats. I understand that web browser control is a non-negotiable feature for you, given your experience with Gen 2 and Gen 3 models.

I want to acknowledge your clear preference for this feature.

Currently, newer Google Nest Thermostat models are primarily managed through the Google Home app. Web browser control is not a feature for these newer models at this time.

Please consider sharing your thoughts directly with our development team through this feedback form. Your input will help us prioritize features and ensure that we're meeting the needs of our diverse user base.

I understand this is not ideal for your needs. Thank you for expressing your thoughts.

Regards,

Kevin
