Ghost touching

My Nest Thermostat (2020) keeps jumping from home screen to settings and back without touching.  It's almost like a ghost is touching and must be a sensor issue. Tried factory resetting, cleaning, restarting to no avail. Anybody have a similar issue or an opinion on resolution?

Sorry to hear about what's happening to your Nest Thermostat but thanks for trying those steps. I want to dig deeper into this. 

A few questions — when did this start happening? Were there instances where this thermostat display was dropped before? Also, could you please provide us a short clip showing what's going on with it?
