Hello,
when I click on Thermostat on My Google Home app it says ERROR. I Checked the Thermostat it shows that it is connected to WIFI. I have to reset the thermostat so my Google Home works. I unistalled the app and re-installed it the issue stayed the same every couple days this issue happens. Any solutions ? Thank you.

This happens to me all the time I have the 4th Generation Nest. I have to manually restart the unit. I would like to know why this keeps happening as well.

Hey there,
I understand that this issue can be frustrating but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?
Please let me know.
Best regards,

I've reset the wifi and uninstalled the app, but same thing. It works for a few days just fine, then I get the same error message on the app. Same thing when I restart the thermostat - it works fine for .a few days, then error message.

Exactly the steps i have undertaken and still get the error message after a few days. Not helpful when im away from the house and cant adjust anything. I am not tech savy and have no idea how to fix.

Hey there,
Sorry to hear that you're still having these issues. Have you tried doing a factory reset on the device itself?
I would also try resetting your modem or router as well.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
