Google NEST sync

I just sync my nest thermostat with google.....how do I download the Google / Nest app on my laptop

There is a web app for Google Home that is under preview. You can log in and see your devices there. Currently it has support for Nest Camera and doorbell. Work is still going on to incorporate other devices too. 

You can also take a look at device access in this regard.

There is no Nest app for computers I'm afraid. If you have a Nest Thermostat E or Nest Learning Thermostat it will appear when you login at home.nest.com after you've set it up with the Nest app. If you have Nest Thermostat (2020) it can currently only be controlled using the app (it does not appear at home.google.com).
