Google Nest 4th Gen screen always on setting

It is absolutely ridiculous there is no option to keep the screen on.

This is right up there with the stupidity of auto start/stop technology in vehicles.

I don't want to have to slow down, stop, or turn my neck as I'm walking down my hallway for this device to sense my presence.

It is the year 2025, and things are getting worse,  because of stupid decisions and stupid decision makers.

It's a screen, use it....I refuse to listen to arguments concerning battery usage or screen life expectancy/burn in.

IT IS MY SCREEN THAT I PAID FOR. LET ME USE IT HOW I WANT TO USE IT.

I'm happy to assist you. I apologize, but that feature is not currently available. The screen only activates when you approach it or tap it, and it will turn off after a few seconds. I recommend submitting your feedback, as your comments and suggestions are very important for us in adding features and improving our devices.
