Hi @Roccade,

Thanks for contacting the community! I understand that your Nest Learning Thermostat won't connect to Wi-Fi. It's great to know that you've already done some troubleshooting, like a factory reset on both devices. I'm happy to help you!

Since you've already tried connecting your thermostat to a mobile hotspot and it worked correctly, we can check a few extra things about your thermostat. With that in mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

  • Which generation Nest Learning Thermostat do you have? How to tell which Nest thermostat you have.
  • In some cases, a router's Wi-Fi network might be hidden, so I'd like to confirm: does your thermostat show your Wi-Fi network?
  • When you try to connect your thermostat to the Wi-Fi, do you see an error code?
  • Can your other devices find your Wi-Fi network name (SSID)?
  • Are you trying to connect to the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz network?
  • Can your other Wi-Fi-capable devices (phone, tablet, computer) connect to the internet through your Wi-Fi network?

In the meantime, I'd like to share some troubleshooting steps that may help you resolve this:

Please feel free to share any additional details you think might be relevant.

Best regards,
Eduardo
