Google Nest Tado replacement

Hi there

Excuse my ignorance with Nest products but I purchased a house with everything already installed so wasn’t involved in the beginning.

So now I see that our Nest thermostat and Heat Link will no longer be supported. So I have been sent the Tado replacement offer. 

As a single female with no electric knowledge is it really a simple like for like and something I can replace myself. Will the Tado thermostat offer everything I have been familiar with thus far? I use the Home/Away assist the most so hoping there is something similar in the app.

What happens to the Heat Link under the boiler? Oh and I also have a useful landing light monitor which I believe is all part of the Nest package. Will I lose that?
