Google Nest Thermostat Matter QR code

Hello, 

I have a Google Nest Thermostat (ga02081-us) that I want to add to my matter network. Where can I find the Matter QR code? It is not on the box (although there is a matter symbol), and the QR code on the thermostat is not Matter.

Or, where can I find the passcode and long discriminator?

Thanks for posting on the community! I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having connecting your thermostat with Matter. Help is here! You can follow these steps to set it up.

1. Open the Google Home App on your iPhone or iPad (running iOS 16.4 or higher).
    
2. Tap on Devices and navigate to your Nest Thermostat.
    
3. Tap on the settings icon.
    
4. Tap Linked Matter apps & services.
    
5. Tap Link apps & service. 
    
6. Copy the pairing code that appears, and open the Apple Home app on your phone.
   Tap + in the top-right corner and choose Add Accessory from the drop-down menu. 
   In the Add Accessory dialogue box that appears asking you to scan a code, tap more options. 
    
7. Tap Google Nest Thermostat in the list of accessories that appear. (If it doesn’t show up, tap My Accessory isn’t Shown Here and then tap Enter code.)
    
8. Paste the code you copied into the Setup Code dialogue box that appears.
    
9. Tap Continue.
    
10. Choose a room to add the thermostat to.
     
11. Name the thermostat.
