Google nest thermostat lost wifi and I cannot get it back on

I have been using it fine for 6 weeks but my starlink router got restarted by mistake a couple of times and nothing in my house retained its wifi connection. I have had to manually hook all my devices back up but the nest thermostat refuses to connect. It stay "wifi not connected" as if I didn't already know that. It still works manually but I had the dial thingy and prefer voice command.

I tried to delete it and then say "already connected" at the prompt but it then wants me to identify all the wiring which I alreayd been working so please advise.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Going over these steps might help reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network and on the app:

 

For the Nest Thermostat 2020 model:

  1. On your actual thermostat. Go to Settings > Account > Disconnect.
    1. Restart your thermostat by removing it from the base and taking out the batteries for at least 3 minutes to refresh before plugging them back in.
  2. If the option is not available, reset it to its default settings.
    1. This will remove all the account information that was created.
  3. Proceed by adding it again in the Google Home app.
     

For the Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E:

  1. Go to Settings > Reset > Account Connection > Reset.
  2. Reconnect it back to your Wi-Fi network manually in its network settings once it's ready.
  3. Generate an entry key or scan the QR code on the Nest App option in its settings.
  4. Continue the setup in the Nest app.
