HOW DO I PERMANENTLY DISABLE THIS HORRIBLE ECO ??!!!!!!!!!

No matter how many times I turn off ECO --  It will at random just suddenly go back to ECO.   RIDICULOUS!!!!!

How can I PERMANENTLY DISABLE THIS HORRIBLE ECO feature!!!????

Hi Al, 

Sorry to hear about your overheating  home. No one likes having heat on in the summer! Let's see if this works for you.

Can you try out the following? This process should end your thermostat's smart features.

• Open the Google Nest app on your smartphone/tablet.
• Select your thermostat.
• Select the Mode option in the lower left and set the mode to Heat/Cool.
• Select the Eco option in the lower center and end Eco Temperatures on all thermostats.
• Select the Gear icon in the upper right and turn off the Home/Away Assist and Auto-Schedule options.

I have the Nest Thermostat 2020 and here is how I was able to disable the ECO mode.

I'm using an iPhone and disabled it like this:

1. Open App
2. Click on the middle (purple) feature, Routines
3. Under "Household Routines", click "Home"
4. Under "Actions" disable the Eco/Away action that has been added to your Nest
