HVAC monitoring is not working

My thermostat is set to 77° but it only cools to 81° and and I'm not getting any notifications from HVAC monitoring. I've been having issues with my A/C and no notifications for those issues neither.  How can I fix this problem?

I would also like an answer to this. My AC has stopped working twice this summer due to separate issues and I never received any notifications.

@KE51904 and @Leon11, thanks for reaching out. I'd like to know more about it. Could you please share with us your Nest Thermostat power readout? Also, check your thermostat Energy History. It might help you see what your thermostat was doing previously. You can visit this support article on how to check Energy History in the thermostat or in the Nest app.

Nest Learning Thermostat and Nest Thermostat E:

1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Look for Technical Info.
4. Select Power.

Nest Thermostat 2020:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap the thermostat.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Select the Device Information.
5. Choose Technical Information.
