Hi Subarudrift,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that you'd like to know if there's a way to keep the fan off when your system is cooling. Help is here!

Here are two ways you can try to keep the fan off while it's cooling:

  • Turn off the fan schedule:

    • Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
    • Tap and hold your device's tile.
    • Tap Settings.
    • Select Schedules and then Fan.
    • Set it to off.
  • Only if you feel comfortable manipulating wires, try removing the G wire on the thermostat:
    • Turn off the breakers.
    • Gently remove the display from the base plate.
    • Then, remove the G wire

For more information regarding fan control, please take a look at this article: Fan control with a Nest thermostat.

Keep me posted.

Best regarsd,

Rusell.
