Heat Link

Thermostat has randomly disconnected from the heat link and won’t reconnect. Have tried repairing and moving the thermostat right next to the heat link. Nothing works. The heat link is connected fine to the boiler so it will turn the boiler on but can’t get it connected to the thermostat. Any ideas?

Hi Christian thanks for your offer of help. Fortunately the problem is now resolved. I tried repairing it a couple of times and on the second at temp it connected! It’s been ok since. I’m wondering if it was due to an internet outage a couple of days before.

Hey @Nesty2020,

I'm glad to hear that you managed to resolve the issue. The thermostat is connected to the Heat Link via Nest Weave, which is very similar to Bluetooth. They should still be connected even if you don't have internet. Sometimes they disconnect if you introduce new gadgets into your home, or if the thermostat and Heat Link are too close to large metal objects or other smart devices.
