Heat Not Blowing

Purchased and installed a Nest Learning Thermostat just today. Cooling works great and the fan works, but it will not blow hot air. When I test out the heating, it will kick the heater on for a moment but no air will blow at all. Heater will shut off for a second and then try again until I turn it off manually. No heating or cooling issues previous to this with our regular Honeywell thermostat, was just looking to upgrade to a smart thermostat.

Nest was installed upstairs in a two-story home, conventional forced-air heating system (natural gas) NO HEAT PUMP. Downstairs heat still works (Honeywell thermostat).

Any ideas?

SOLVED:

Had an A/C tech friend look at it and the heater's flame sensor was dirty and not allowing the gas to ignite. Before we figured this out, we tried the nest on our downstairs system and it worked without issue, so we imagine a Nest will work fine upstairs.

Do you have two separate systems or just one with a zone controller?

Post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring here

If you have a zone controller, post a picture of its wiring and make and model number
