Just now updated Google Home app to vers 3.29.103. I can now no long see the heat pump balance settings under temperature preferences. Nothing was changed on Nest Thermostat (model G4CVZ) or wiring. It worked fine on app version I had previously.
[posted the above in the "app" category, but it may be "thermostats" is more appropriate.]

Hello bill46,
Thank you so much for posting in this community. I understand that the Heat Pump Balance option is not visible in the Google Home app after updating. No worries, I'm here to assist you.
Here are some steps you can try:
Update the software: Ensure your Nest thermostat has the latest software update. Go to Settings, then choose Version and check for an update.
Reboot your cellphone or tablet where the thermostat is connected.
Factory reset: Try to perform this step and set up your thermostat again. Go to Settings, then select Factory Reset. Remember to remove the device from the Google Home app before adding it.
Keep me posted to know if these suggestions were helpful.
Best regards,
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
Thanks for your reply. I have checked software version and have rebooted the iPhone which has the problematic app.
I have not yet done factory reset. Will do this the next time I have the chance. (Thermostat is installed in second home, so will be a while before there again.)
Thanks again.
Bill
