hi. I have no heating however there is still hot water. My heat link unit has died. No flashing lights not responsive when I try to reset it. No joy with technical support never connects me to them. What do I do now? I had it since 2019 it came together with a new boiler. I am fuming as I dont want to buy a whole new unit I only need a heat link bit. Any advice please? Thank you

I have finally got through the nest technical support. Give them a ring on +44 808 169 2307. They said they will be in touch within the next 24-48 hours. I really hope they will sort this out otherwise I will be crying. These days they make things to work for 2 years only if that. Absolute disgrace when you think😥

I am in the same situation. Saw from searches this was common at the start of the year. My heatlink also looks like it has died despite being under 2years old. Not good enough.

We are in the same situation too!!
Last week just came home to a dead thermostat and no light on the heat link. The heat link is not responding to any of the tech support restarts it suggests. The boiler is still on and functioning as normal and we have hot water but that’s about it. Heating refuses to come on. I manually charged the thermostat and got error code H72 when connected back to the base but as there is no power charging the unit it soon died again.
We called an electrician in thinking it could be a faulty lead but was told the connections are live and working fine. Bought ours in Nov 2019 but didn’t install until Jan/Feb 20 when we got our new boiler installed. Unsure where to go now.

Hello everyone,
Thanks for reaching out. I'll do my best to get this sorted for you as soon as possible.
Here are some helpful troubleshooting steps:
Press the button on the Heat Link and check if you have any lights on it
Check if the circuit breakers and the switches are set to on
Turn them off and then back on
Press on the button again and check for LEDs
Could you also help me with some answers to these questions?
How long has your thermostat been installed for?
Did the issue happen during the installation?
Is there any error on the Nest thermostat display?
Have you had any power cuts recently?
Have you had any work done on your electrical or heating systems recently?
If yes, was the power properly restored at the fuse board after work was done?
How many zones are present in the setup?
Regards,
Cristian
