My Nest thermostat started acting weird two days ago. It won’t turn on automatically or from the app but if I go touch the dial and turn it up one degree then back to the set temperature, it turns on and heats, then automatically turns off once it reaches the temperature. It has also given us the offline message twice. We’ve charged and reset the thermostat with no change in the issue. We’ve also run the heat test and it says it’s fine. Battery reads 3.92 volts and all software and firmware is up to date. Thermostat was installed three years ago and there have been no issues. Any ideas?

Hi @Jillire,
Thanks for posting in the Community! Sorry to hear that you can’t turn on the heating from the Nest App, only if you do it manually using the dial. No worries, help is here! Please provide me with the following information:
Here you have this article to Troubleshoot connecting a Nest thermostat to the Nest app that contains some helpful steps.
