Heat repeatedly turns itself

RPMGSXR

I have nothing in my schedule it's completely blank yet I often wake up to my heat running on days when it shouldn't be to a temperature of 68° f. I have no idea what to do I've erased everything from the schedule and it still happens.

Hi RPMGSXR,

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. I'm sorry for the delay. I'd like to know more about it. Could you please share with us your Nest Thermostat power readout? It will help us to isolate the issue.

You can follow the guide below:

Nest Learning Thermostat and Nest Thermostat E:

  1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Look for Technical Info.
  4. Select Power.

Nest Thermostat 2020:

  1. Open the Google Home app and then tap the thermostat and then tap Settings .
  2. Select the Device Information.
  3. Choose Technical Information.

Also, please check your thermostat Energy History. It might help you see what your thermostat was doing previously. You can visit this support article on how to check Energy History in the thermostat or in the Nest app.

Best,

Jenelyn
