Heat schedule

Can someone explain how the Heat Schedule works?

I have clicked ‘Add’ and set a temperature & time to start but how long does it stay on for?

I can obviously ’Add’ another temp/time but is this when the first one goes off?

The Hot Water is far more obvious and easier to understand!! Have I bought the wrong product?  I thought the basic schedule would be where you turn on/off at set times and the learning bit would be if we manually overrode it everyday to be on longer/shorter it would ‘learn’ and adjust!

It just seems sooo poor not to have this basic functionality ☹️

To create a heating schedule, you can do it from the Google Home app or the Nest thermostat itself, or if you want to create a hot water schedule, you can use the Nest app. For reference, you can check out these articles: Temperature schedules for the Nest thermostat and Domestic hot water control.

Additionally, to better assist you, I’d like to ask the following:

• What is the model of your Nest thermostat? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify your thermostat model.
