Heating Schedule Issue

Heya!

Probably being a complete idiot here, but having an issue with the Schedule function. I've tried to set Schedules multiple times, and while manually controlling the heating via the app has been super simple, the Schedules I set never seem to actually come into effect.  I don't know whether this is because there's a setting that needs changing, or whether the heating needs to already be on in order for the Schedules to work. I would have assumed that the Schedules turn the heating on and off according to the timetable I add, but I'm clearly missing something here and it's quite frustrating!

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'd like to ask you a few questions in order to gather more information about the concern and find the best way to fix it.

 

  • What type of thermostat do you have?
  • Have you already tried some troubleshooting steps?
  • Did you set up the schedules through the app or in the Nest Thermostat?
  • Do you have the Nest renew and rush hour subscriptions?
