Installed last week and was working fine for the first few days.
It still works fine every morning, pre heating and turning off as scheduled. However it doesn't work in the afternoon or evening. When the heating is meant to be on, the thermostat says "Heating" with "2+Hours" but it does not turn on the boiler. Pressing the manual button on the heat link works and starts the boiler ok. So it seems the thermostat isn't telling the heat link to turn on.
I have reset the heat link and factory reset the thermostat, but that has made no difference.
Could this be a connection problem between the thermostat and heat link? If so, why did it work the first few days and every morning? Weird!
Thermostat is only 10cm away from wifi router. Heat link is in cupboard upstairs.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out to us here @Scottv and for all the details. I am sorry to hear you're having difficulty with the schedule and I will do my best to try and assist.
Just to check, does your thermostat control just the heating at the location or does it control both heating and hot water?
Let us also do some tests to see how the relays in the Heat Link behave. Go next to the Heat Link and open the Nest app on a mobile device:
1. Select your thermostat to access the heating controls and make sure the screen is black, heating is off.
2. Turn up the temperature until the display goes orange, heating on, and listen for a clicking noise.
3. Turn the temperature back down until the display is black again, heating off, and listen for a clicking noise again.
Let me know what the results are.

Hello @AlexD ,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The thermostat controls both breathing and hot water.
I've turned off Auto Schedule and Home/Away Assist in case they were interfering. But this made no difference. Heating came on ok this morning (as I scheduled), but didn't come on to the schedule last night or when I manually turn the thermostat up.
The thermostat is on a stand, so I have moved it upstairs, right next to the heat link. When the heating is set to off and I turn the dial up, the heat link does indeed click. And also clicks when I turn it down again. However the heat link does not start the actual heating.
I presume the click means that they are communicating ok. But why the intermittent connection between the heat link and my boiler? Weird!
Thanks for any help you can give.
