My home temperature used to show up on my app, now I just get a plus sign. Signing into my Nest account didn't work. Signing into Google directed me to a 7-digit code to be found on the settings part of the thermostat. That code didn't work either.
I'm just trying to get this back to the way it's always been, which is the temperature displayed on the app and being able to control it from the app.
Please help, thanks.

To add on to this: I've tried "adding product" (though I thought I'd already added my product) by signing into my Nest account but it says my password is wrong. But it doesn't send a password correction method to my email. So then I tried my Google account and it directs me to a nonexistent code on the thermostat. I've tried restarting and thermostat and the app.
So yeah, driving me nuts. And way more complicated than it should be. Please help.

One possible explanation for no longer seeing your home temperature or your thermostat, being unable to "add" your thermostat (because it's already installed), and not getting a password reset email is if you are somehow inadvertently logging into the Google Nest app using a username different than you've used in the past. (If it's the wrong username, Google Nest can't send you a password reset email because the username isn't registered with them.) And trying to use the "Sign in with Google" option only applies if you have already migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account.

Thanks. To be honest I can't remember if I've migrated it to Google. Neither option (signing into it via my Nest account and signing in via my Google account) worked. I finally solved it just now by resetting it to factory settings. Not sure why that worked but it did.
