Help with 6 wire heat pump connection

After a/c company installed new heat pump system everything worked as it should. I installed nest Gen 4 and could only heat the house using emergency heat setting.  Should I put the * wire to W2 instead?

Give this wiring a try.

Red - R to Rc

Orange - O/B to OB

Yellow - Y to Y1

Green - G to G

White - E to W2/AUX (set as emergency heat)

Brown - C to C
