Hi, I have a Honeywell AC unit (no heating), which I'm trying to connect to the Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Gen.
I have 3 wires: Red to R (with a jumper to RC), Yellow to Y, and Green to G. Photos of the thermostat below.
Per the app's instructions (see image), I connected Yellow to Y/Y1, R to Rh, and Green to G. The Nest Learning Thermostat lets me go through the setup, and then once complete tells me that it is wired incorrectly (specifically the Y1 wire) and will not cool, even though it appears to be recognizing the wires. What am I doing wrong???
I'm based in Puerto Rico so don't think I can get an installer here -- would be amazing if someone has a solution for how we can make this work!! Thank you!
