Hi Nest community, I have had an issue where the hot water schedule turns itself off on the nest. I only find this out where there is no longer hot water -- the heating still works fine, and hot water boost also still works fine.
From the forums its clear that a number of people are similarly experiencing this and it isn't a one off incidental occurence.
Are Google investigating this? What is causing this? is it as a result of a software update? The hot water schedule function should not be disabled, even if software updates have taken place.

Hi. I'm having a similar issue with my nest. It's been working fine for several years but this week Monday and today (Friday) the hot water hasn't been heating. Although the schedule has been untouched and it shows as heating/orange screen. When I undertake a boost it worked for Mondays issue but the problem seems to of returned again today. Not happy. My daughter was sick in the night and for her to have a cold shower was not right. Sort this issue Google!!

Hi Dan, have you had a look to see whether the schedule has turned itself off on the nest device. The problem is the on the app, it shows the heating as on during the scheduled hours but 'Hot Water Schedule' would be turned off on the device itself. This is normally found on the setting of the nest device

Hi there! @skyr I'm really sorry to hear that you had trouble with the Hot Water schedule. You've managed to resolve the issue by turning the Hot Water Schedule on from the device? @Dan7970, I saw that you also started a separate thread on this matter, and I also replied. Let's continue the discussion there.

I'm sorry to hear about it. The schedule that you have on the app and the one from the Thermostat Display are the same, and they're both on?
