Gen 4 and no to all the questions.  The power went out in my complex then came back on just the other day.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Thermostat is not working as expected and is blowing hot air instead of cool, but there's no need to worry; I'm happy to help you right now.

To get a better understanding of the situation, please help me out by answering the following questions:

  • When did cooling last work?
  • When was the last maintenance service and cleaning?
  • Is this the first time you’re calling for cooling this year?
  • Have you set up a temperature schedule for your thermostat?
  • Did you check the O/B wire configuration and try changing the O-wire to the B-wire configuration or vice versa?
  • Do you see a power error code on your thermostat?
  • Can you please send me a picture of the Nest Thermostat wiring?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Best regards,

Gabriela
