My elearning thermostat shows room temperature at 22 degrees but it's very cold in the house. I'd say its more like 15 degrees but I have nothing to check that with. So to warm the house for an hour I'm having to set stat at above 22 degrees together it warm. It's a new thermostat fitted last week. Anyone had similar problems?

Hi jake - basically we have a nest latest generation (bought only a few months ago) its learning nest, currently its connected for my heating and water. the issue I have is on the screen we see say for eg. 18 - so I am assuming this means the room temp is 18 and it feels cold in the room. So I want to heat it up more, you think that if I turn up to 19 than the heating would come on but it doesn't. I have to turn it up to at least 3 degree's for the heating to come on. surely that can't be correct? I still need help with this. basically what I want to do is set one temp say at 19 in the winter all the time and then if I need more I simply turn it up by 1 d for the heating to turn on.

That's exactly what happens with my thermostat. It just doesn't seem right. And im on my 2nd thermostat and the 1st one was the same.

So live example, the temperature was showing 19.5 a few minutes ago, I went to raise temp, it shows 20 but it does not go red, then i put it up to 21 it does not go red, then finally when I get it to 22.5 it goes red. all of the levels show that the will warm up to say 21 in the next 2 hours, but no red light ?????
