And yes, I've googled it. Some idiot named David_K keeps telling people to go to this contact thing, but I did that and they couldn't do it!!! WHY DO YOU KEEP TELLING PEOPLE TO GO THERE WHEN THEY DON'T HELP!?

I'm going to escalate this over to our community support team.
There is a discrepancy between what the Nest Help Center tells users has here: Sign up for Rush Hour Rewards and manage participation - Android - Google Nest Help and what the Nest app says to do to un enroll. (Nest app>gear>Rebates/Rewards>Rush Hour...."to manage your account, contact the Nest partner (your power co.)..."

...ok? So what does that mean? What am I supposed to do?

I am getting support from Nest to help you. Hang tight while I nag them.
I honestly don't know how to unenroll from Rush Hour anymore. The app has you contacting the power company to disenroll and the help center has you go to the "contact us" link
I need the support team to clarify how we are to unenroll.
(I'm a Nest user and not a Google employee)

Hello folks,
I'm chiming in to see how I can help.
I appreciate you escalating this thread, @JillG.
@Guybrush3pwood, I understand the frustration of the Rush Hour Rewards when it comes to the temperature changes during peak hours. You might not have remembered it, but during the thermostat set-up process in the Nest app, there's a prompt if you wish to join Rush Hour with your energy company. But have you tried to contact our team for the unenrollment process from the link shared by JillG? If you haven't yet, we have a designated team that handles this type of request and needs access to the account to complete the process.
Please give it a try and let me know if it was processed successfully.
Regards,
Mark
