How to turn everything on the thermosat so only I can adjust the cooling or Heat?

Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to help. Nest Thermostats have features that might control your heating or cooling system automatically. Disabling these features will allow you to control your thermostat traditionally.

For Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E:

1. Disabling Thermostat Manual Schedule
   1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu
   2. Go to Settings
   3. Look for Reset
   4. Choose Schedule (Clear Schedule)
2. Disabling Auto Schedule
   1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu
   2. Go to Settings
   3. Look for Nest Sense
   4. Turn off Auto Schedule
3. Home/Away Assist
   1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu
   2. Go to Settings
   3. Look for Home/Away Assist
   4. Turn off Home/Away Assist

For Nest Thermostat 2020:

1. Remove a temperature
   1. Open the Google Home app  .
   2. Select your thermostat.
   3. Tap Schedules.
   4. Tap the day of the week that has the temperature you’d like to remove.
   5. Select the temperature you want to remove.
   6. Tap Delete. The temperature will be removed from the schedule for that day.
