I purchased an "Open Box" Nest 3 Learning Thermostat on Ebay. It was supposed to be "new". I found that it is not and is LOCKED and requires PIN to unlock it before I can Factory Reset it.
Does anyone know how to do this.

Thanks for asking. Google Chat was able to guide me through a reset with a DOS script and help putting it in the Command Line. That worked to reset the unit. I am happy.
