I keep getting emails and notifications on my thermostat asking me to sign up for energy savings plans where the power company can adjust my thermostat during peak need. The problem is that the plans are for a different power company than what I use. I'm not using a 3rd party, I'm using the only power company that supplies services to my area, although I am literally on the border where the other company provides service. Is there any way that I can either get them to correct which power company I use or disable those notifications?

Hi @dkozinn!
Thanks for posting in the community.
I’m sorry for the inconveniences that you’ve been experiencing with your Nest thermostat. I understand that you are receiving emails asking you to sign up for energy savings plans but offered by a different company than the one that supplies you with your energy. You would like to be able to use these plans with your company or disable the notifications. Let me help you with this.
To disable the notifications, you can follow the next steps:
As you are receiving the plan from another company that is near your location, I will suggest you check if your energy company is part of the Rush Hour Rewards program. You can check more information about this program in the next article: Sign up for Rush Hour Rewards and manage participation.
If you have any other questions, you can keep posting.
Regards,
Daniel.
