We don't have a Nest thermostat, but you were supposed to receive emails on this. (It sounds, from posts in this forum, that not all customers received emails.). You could try contacting Support:
To contact Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Select your device from the dropdown, click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

I urge you not to consider this, what's to say they wont do they same in 2 years or 2 months with the next thermostat you buy from google?

I have been trying for
weeks to figure out how the get guidance to receive the info to purchase a new Nest thermostat. There is no phone number. None of my support emails have been replied to, and tomorrow is the supposed deadline. I do not feel like a long time customer who is being treated well. I would appreciate assistance. More than AI.
