I accidentally deleted my Nest Thermostat from my Google Home account and can't get it to reconnect.

Before I begin, I need to ask a few questions for further assistance:

  • What model of Google Nest thermostat do you have?

  • Can you describe the steps you took when you initially deleted the Nest Thermostat from your Google Home app?

  • When you attempt to reconnect, at what specific point in the process does it fail? Do you receive any error messages?

  • Are there any other smart home devices on your network, and are they functioning correctly?

  • What type of phone or tablet are you using, and what operating system version is it running?

  • Is the Nest Thermostat powered on and functioning normally, aside from the connectivity issue?
