I'm attempting to install my new Nest tstat, but when connecting in Google Home

I'm attempting to install my new Nest tstat, but when it tries to connect in Google Home app it says that I have to factory reset the tstat. How do I do this considering it was never operational to start with. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

You may do a reset your thermostat by following the steps here: https://bit.ly/3riP5Dp The steps vary depending on the type of Nest thermostat you have but the link should provide you a step by step guide.
