Can not opt-out of nest renew though I didn't op-in either. Have followed the unsubscribe instructions and there's no unsubscribe button where Google says it should be. I called customer support, and they insisted that one of the other users in my household must have been the one who subscribed so they have to be the one who unsubscribes. Well, they didn't either. I've gone through the same steps on their phones and there's just no unsubscribe button. I have no desire for these thermostats to function outside of my control and they will be removed if Google doesn't provide a solution quickly.
By the way, my issue stems from the fact that the thermostats are being set to auto-Eco because "nobody is home" when, in fact, my youngest daughter is home. Yes, I've discontinued using the Eco setting as part of my schedules altogether as was first suggested by customer support. That did nothing and I have no interest in whatever further solution might be offered. I want nest renew GONE or I'm gone.

I'm just another Google Nest customer. We do NOT have a Nest thermostat, but I keep seeing these posts from customers unable to cancel their "Nest Renew" subscription, and many of them, like you, say they never enrolled in the first place.
Do none of Google Nest's instructions below work?

Those are the instructions that I'm referencing in my post. They DO NOT work. There is no MANAGE ENROLLMENT button present.

If you also cannot access and unenroll via the Nest Renew portal they mention (https://nestrenew.google.com/welcome/), I hope a Google Nest Support person steps in here ASAP.
