Inherited a nest in a rented property reset was done and won’t connecg

Hello I have just moved into a rented apartment where the previous occupier used a next thermostate all has been reset on the device and going through the setup it won’t connect to the heat link I’ve tried every tutorial as well as the trouble shoot on here but nothing seems to make it connect and I got get in the main page to add it to the app
