Installed More Efficient Heat Pump

I recently replaced my heat pump with a new, more efficient, model. Should I reset my 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostat for it to recalculate time to heat/cool and early on times?

If you have replaced any equipment you should always rest the thermostat to factory defaults and set it up again.
