Is Nest thermostat gen 4 compatible with my Fujitsu system?

I have a Fujitsu heating and cooling system (2 zones) installed about 8 years ago and the thermostats have never worked well. Looking to confirm if the Nest 4th gen thermostat are compatible before making the purchase. Current wiring only has Red (1), White (2) and Black (3) and says DC 12V

  • What type of HVAC system do you have, conventional or heat pump system?
  • Can you share a picture of the current wiring in your current thermostat? 
  • If you feel safe, can you provide a picture of your current control board of your HVAC system?
  • Do you have auxiliary heat or cool?
